Music is Magic!

Amazing is to see a crying child stop to pin drop silence on listening to a fast-beat song. Never mind whether it is classical, pop, or a Bollywood melody, an average adult will cool down after a tough verbal encounter engaged just to hold a point. We have heard that good music helps grow plants. Music is magical. It energizes one quickly. Do not know the science, but I am good enough to know from my decades of learning and teaching classical music that’ Music is magical. 

As a teacher, I have felt it is magic when my student repeats lessons every time I sing for them. Unlike teaching an instrument where one is physically able to see the hand placement while playing an instrument, vocal music is so different. Of course, what happens inside my internal vocal voice box is not what my student sees to replicate. Yet when a student repeats with pitch perfection it amazes me. 

This magic fails many times too. Ha HA, when a student fails to fit into the pitch zone here comes the real challenge. So for the magic to happen the musical ears have to come to action.

 It takes years for some to get to the magic spot and some may never come there. Yet the presence of music in one's life makes it magical ultimately.

 Keep trying, it may take days for some and years for some, it may never happen for others yet let the magic will play on you at its own pace…
